I've been on a bit of a monster movie kick over the past couple of months.

Now, y'all may or may not be aware, but I am a lover of cinematic SciFi Horror (Alien, Predator, Godzilla) and campy zombie movies, like Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, The Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, and Warm Bodies, to name a few.

I also want to write monster fiction (Remember that fun-surprise story I told you about a while back?), so this monster movie kick should come as no surprise to those in the know. Which would be about three of you.

Here, in no particular order, is a rundown of the monster movies I've watched, for your viewing pleasure. I'm not going to lie; some of these movies were downright bad. For the life of me, I couldn't remember what The Black Hole was about until I re-read the description, and while watching Sharknado, I kept wondering who thought a sequel was a good idea.

Of course, I then went on to watch that sequel.

Some of the movies were surprisingly good. Train to Busan, for example, is a South Korean zombie movie, and yes, it's subtitled.

And some were corny as all get out. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Bruce Campbell.
